Amongst all the Apple announcements made today, the Find My Friends feature may raise eyebrows. I have a feeling, from my past experiences as an Apple nerd, that a lot of people are going to be using this feature to decry the iPhone/iOS. Take a look at the page: it’s an opt-in feature, you can choose who to share with, and it can be flipped on or off. It is not Apple or the cellular companies or the government tracking you (anymore than normal).
There, we’re done. Although any parent that tracks their kid better be a diplomat otherwise they’re nuts.
